Socio-Economic History According
to Eugene’s mother, no known disease conditions exist in her mother’s family
but it is her father’s family that there is Asthma. She said there are some
minor ailments such as headache, cold, diarrhea and vomiting which were mostly
treated with over-the-counter drugs. As a child, he depends on her mother and
other family members for survival. Eugene’s mother and relatives have cordial
relationship among themselves as well as other members of their house and
community. The mother being the only one catering for the child, sometimes
depend on other family members especially the senior sister who is a
storekeeper at Chiraa for help.
